| About Us.... We are a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit corporation established in 1985 to provide training and rehabilitative services to persons with developmental disabilities. The State of Kansas has identified New Beginnings as the Community Developmental Disability Organization (CDDO) for residents of Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood and Wilson Counties. This responsibility requires that New Beginnings provide the single point of entry, admissions management, eligibility, and quality assurance oversight for the four-county area. New Beginnings is a licensed provider of services by the Department of SRS: Health Care Policy for persons with developmental disabilities across five counties including Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Montgomery, and Wilson. Some of these services include residential supports, group home living, case management, job placement and assistance, traditional adult day services, in-home supports, transportation, and direct financial assistance. The New Beginnings main office is located in the Twin Rivers Industrial Park, 1001 Wilson Drive, in Neodesha. Satellite offices are located in Eureka, Moline and Sedan. Our organization is governed by a 12-member board of directors. The board is comprised of membership from the four service counties and includes family members, business leaders, and educational professionals. New Beginnings is a member of ANCOR, a national network of providers offering quality supports to people with developmental disabilities. |
